Terms of Service

Early-access service

Smart Study is an evolving early-access product. Features may change, be interrupted, or be removed as we learn. Access is currently free and requires no payment card. If paid plans are introduced, we will provide advance notice and will not charge you without your explicit agreement.

Your account

Invitations are personal and single-use. You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your credentials, and promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share, sell, or misuse an invitation or account.

Acceptable use

Do not use Smart Study to violate the law, harm others, interfere with the service, probe security without written authorization, distribute malware, or store content you do not have the right to use.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you add. You grant us the limited permission needed to host, process, back up, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service. You remain responsible for your content and should keep independent copies of anything essential.

Our product

Smart Study, its software, branding, and original product materials are owned by Smartech Studios or its licensors. These terms do not transfer those rights to you. Feedback may be used to improve the product without obligation, while we will not publicly identify you as its source without permission.

Availability and warranties

The service is provided on an early-access, as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and do not promise uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or that the service will meet every learning need. Smart Study is not medical, legal, or professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Smartech Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages arising from early-access use. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Smart Study at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or discontinuation of early access. When reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to retrieve your content.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be communicated before taking effect when reasonably possible. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
